Glass etching paste is a creamy paste used for etching glass surfaces. It has a strong etching effect.
Simply apply to the surface, leave on for at least 15 minutes and then rinse with water. It will create a matte, smooth layer on the glass, which can be further painted or decorated. Glass etching is the result of a chemical reaction, it can no longer be removed.
How to use: Prepare the glass by thoroughly cleaning it with water or alcohol, cover with paper. Do not use glass cleaning spray. Before you get started with the Glass Etching Paste, put on the gloves provided and stir the paste well. Apply the paste in an even layer to the surface with a brush, sponge brush or a plastic spatula. Good to use with stencils, it is recommended to use self-adhesive stencils or a repositionable spray adhesive on the back of the stencil. This is to prevent the cream from going under. The paste can also be filled into a plastic tube with an applicator or syringe so you can use it for writing or drawing. Leave the paste on the surface for at least 15 minutes and then rinse with water. Do not remove the template until after rinsing the paste.
Wash all tools used immediately!
Store the paste at room temperature. At a low temperature, the paste can crystallize, but it does not lose its responsiveness. In that case, place the closed container in warm water, wait for the crystals to melt, then stir the paste thoroughly. Long-term storage may cause the paste to thicken. Do not dilute it with water or any other material as it will lose its responsiveness! The Glass Etching Paste can be neutralized using baking soda (sodium hydrocarbon).
