Pentart Crackle varnish is a water-based, two-component crackle varnish to create antique, cracked surfaces. Apply component 1 in an even layer and let it dry completely. Then apply component 2; the depth of the cracks depends on the thickness of the layer. The layer dries transparent and waterproof. Treat the cracks with Antique Paste or Liquid Patina from Pentart to make the effect even more beautiful.
The classic gives a somewhat coarser structure than the fineline.
