Embossing powder is a powder that melts when heated.
By stamping with a versa mark ink or writing with the versa mark pen you create a kind of sticky layer for the powder.
Sprinkle the powder over the ink and tap off the excess.
If you then carefully heat it with a heat tool, the powder will melt and you will get a very nice layer over the ink.
The powders come in different types.
