PENTART's one-part crackle medium brings a touch of antiquity to any surface, reminiscent of cracked paint. Use an acrylic paint on the surface to be decorated; once dry apply the crackle medium. Once the crackle medium has dried, repaint the surface with an acrylic paint of a different color than the original layer. The second layer of paint applied will crack during drying due to the crackle medium. The first layer of paint will be visible in the cracks, the thickness of the cracks depends on the thickness of the layers that have been applied.
