Crochet lucky charms

Make nice little gifts for someone who could use a smile.

Whether this is someone you know or someone you don't know, it is always nice for the recipient to receive/find something like this.

These lucky worms, flowers or butterflies are relatively easy to make.

Place the lucky charms in places where people come who can really use them, think of hospitals, nursing homes, care institutions, etc., etc.

What do you need?

You don't need much to crochet these nice figures.

Some leftover yarn, beads with a face, glue, crochet hook and some imagination.

How do you proceed?

The lucky worm is very easy to make. (photo above)

Crochet a chain with the desired number of chains. (I did 30)

Then crochet 3 double crochets in each chain, you will see that it will turn automatically.

Immediately crochet a chain with chains for the hanging loop.

Then crochet a single crochet in a blue color on each stitch.

Pull the hanging loop through the bead, this is very easy with a crochet hook.

For the hat, crochet 6 single crochets in a magic ring, then 2 single crochets in each single crochet, finally 1 round 1 single crochet in each single crochet.

Pull the hanging loop through the bead as well, and secure it with a little glue.

Make the flower by crocheting a chain of single crochets, pull this through the bead and secure it with a half single crochet. The bead now has a chain halfway along the head, now crochet a single crochet for the other half of the head and secure this with a half single crochet. Now there is a circle of single crochets around the bead.

Measure how many single crochets you need to use, this depends on the size of the bead, and how loosely or tightly you crochet.

It should not be too loose around it.

Now you are going to crochet 6 petals around the chain of single crochets, crochet each petal as follows.

*3 ch, 1 tr, 1 tr, 1 tr and repeat until you have 6 leaves and secure with a slip stitch.

If necessary, crochet a hanging loop by crocheting a chain of ch, secure this with a slip stitch,

There are many patterns on the internet that are very suitable for lucky pendants

Have fun crocheting, and who knows, you might even find a lovingly made lucky doll yourself.

Christmas ball with decoupage

In the past I worked with my mother together on roof tiles and stones with napkins, this was so much fun. And the nice thing is that it is still a very nice and beautiful technique. The technique I use now is just a little different, because you work on the inside.
