How do you proceed?

Find some nice twigs and cut them to the right size.

Glue the twigs to the roof of the birdhouse with a glue gun.

Don't forget to finish the ridge neatly.

Apply a layer of self-drying clay to the sides of the house. You can first rub this with some wood glue so that the clay stays in place better. add some stone texture if you like. I did this with a small stamp.

Let the clay dry, some cracks may appear as it dries, you can remove this with some more clay.

I left it that way because I wanted to create a slightly older looking house.

It is advisable to paint your house now.

I didn't do that, with the result that you can no longer easily reach it if there are flowers on it.

Then you make beautiful branches, flowers and leaves from clay and attach them to the house.

I also did this with a little heavy gel.

This should also be allowed to dry thoroughly.

Time to confirm the lighting,

I used a glue gun to attach a 1 meter string of lights to the roof.

At the back of the house I hid the battery holder behind some twigs.

Then you give everything a nice color. I used different brands of acrylic paint.

I created moss on the ground by stirring some grit into the structure paste and adding some green paint.

I also used this mixture to remove the wires from the lights on the roof.

The birds complete the house completely.
