With alcohol ink you can do a lot more than you think.

I used it a lot with stamping to make beautiful backgrounds, and in my epoxy castings.

But I thought you could probably do something with it on flower pots.

Went there one afternoon and it went surprisingly well.

Make sure you have a glazed flower pot, so it really has to have a surface that nothing soaks in.

A vase or a jar made of glass is of course also very good.

Clean this flower pot well with alcohol.

And then the coloring can begin.

Prepare some colored alcohol ink, sponges, a spray bottle, some alcohol and possibly some straws or an air blower.

Now you can start.

Put some colors on your flower pot and dab the colors over the flower pot with the sponges.

You can also mist it with the alcohol, then the colors will run a bit more.

Blow away some paint with an air blower or straw.

It's really playing with the ink, and the nice thing is that it can never go wrong.

When everything is dry, I sprayed a few coats with matte varnish.

This way I can always wipe the jar with a damp cloth.

Use the same colors on different pots, and you will get a nice series of flower pots that match each other.

I made a tea light in the same colors myself, with a candle in it.

That gives that nice atmosphere light.



So if you still have some bottles of alcohol ink, try it out.

You will see that it is a lot of fun to do.
